As most of you know when life throws you curve balls sometimes you might get hit with a few. After losing two uncles in the same week, I'd say that I've had enough of baseball for while.
Fortunately, my in laws had their family reunion scheduled in between the stress of life. Boy was the timing wonderful. The first photo summed up the week for me. We were in Louisa County, VA. It's a few miles north of the University of Virginia. It was the first time in a long time when we all had a moment to stop and enjoy one another. Not because we paid to stay at a nice resort, but because we understand the need of celebrating one another. We understand that when there's no money, no job, no friends or even hope; there is always a person that looks like you that can fill the void of all of the above.
So with a group of over 30 people we kept the place live all week, lol! We played games, celebrated a birthday, we broke bread together; we made time to get to know each other all over again. If I haven't learned anything in the past two weeks, that's the lesson. Sometimes we have to stop and reflect on life because there will be days when the people that look like you may not be around. So party every chance you get. Slow down to watch the sunset sometimes, there may be a lesson in it to. If you need help learning how, send me an email, we'll give you a crash course. Enjoy!
